Mavic mini
12 May 2020I was recently given a mavic mini from my sons, it is a great little machine. I thought WOW I can use my Samsung J7 Pro with it !!!! No it does not work.!!! I spoke with one of Rise above reps and was told use one of the phones on the recommended list or a phone made in the last 2 years. I also online chat with DJI, and was told to buy off the recommended list (but with no mention of 64 bit OS). So I started to do my research... If you want a phone NOT on the list, make sure you buy a phone that has a 64 bit operating system (not 32 bit). And you will need to check with the manufacturer as most advertising does not tell you the bit rate. If you have a phone you can check the bit rate by getting Antutu benchmark app. Good hunting for your compatible phone.
