Each Vision+ Series Filter is made from two CNC machined Delrin® pieces so that the filter frame can be disassembled to facilitate easy cleaning of the filter glass. Delrin, which is more costly than billet aluminum by volume, was selected because of its high quality and excellent machining qualities.

The Vision+ camera lens body can vary slightly from camera to camera. To ensure a good fit, each V+ Series filter includes an o-ring on the inside diameter of the filter which will accommodate small variations in camera lens diameter.

SRP Vision+ 6-pack Combo

The 6-pack contains all V+ Series filters made by Snake River Prototyping.  Use the circular polarizing (CP) filter to reduce glare on water and windows, manage reflections, and increase the contrast between the sky and clouds.  A CP filter is also useful in snowy conditions to distiguish between all the whites in your shots.  The neutral density 4 (ND4) and neutral density 8 (ND8) filters block 75% and 87.5% of the light to the camera lens, respectively.  Neutral density filters are used to reduce the effects of rolling shutter, namely the "jello effect" and "prop blur".  The ND4/CP and ND8/CP filters combine the benefits of a circular polarizer and a neutral density filter into one filter.  The UV filter is used as a lens protector or as substitute for the other V+ Series filters on a gimbal that has been weight balanced for use with a V+ Series filter.

ND vs ND/CP

The SRP ND/CP combo filters have the added benefit of reducing unwanted reflections or glare. The ND/CP combo filters are as if you stacked a Circular Polarizer onto the ND, which adds nearly a full stop. So an ND8/CP and a standard ND16 would have similar light transmission or stop.
